Barry Headon

I have been involved with dog training for over 20 years and work as the Dog Warden for Greenwich Borough Council. I decided to start my own training classes in 1999 to promote pet dog ownership using reward based training. I want to help owners of all breeds to understand their dogs behaviour and be confident in the knowledge that they can have a dog that is  a socially acceptable and contented member of their household.

In 2003 I began assisting in the training classes and enjoyed it so much  I started attending courses to increase my knowledge of dogs and dog training. I now assist with the adult dogs and run my own puppy training classes at Plumstead.

Our Training Methods

We use reward based training which means we never use punishment, aggression or intimidation We do not use full check/choke, electric or pronged collars or slip leads. We can help an owner discover what motivates their dog and help them to achieve the level of control that they require.
